Software Engineer

An established defence technology business is looking for a software engineer to join the team. This role focuses on the development and enhancement of full-stack applications used for monitoring and managing complex simulation systems and centres. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of software features, from initial concept and implementation to documentation and testing. What you'll be doing • Developing full-stack applications to monitor system integrity and performance within simulation environments. • Designing and implementing new software features for hardware component analysis and system management. • Overseeing software integration and deployment processes both internally and at client sites. • Performing systematic error analysis and developing sustainable solutions for system disturbances. • Maintaining and optimising existing software solutions to ensure high quality and operational readiness. What we're looking for • A degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification. • Strong experience in software development using object-oriented languages within a desktop environment. • Proficiency with modern system monitoring, automation, and scripting tools. • Practical experience with software deployment techniques and testing on technical installations. • Fluency in German and English, combined with a willingness to travel for client integrations.
